Watching George Floyd die left a sinking feeling deep in my soul and I felt this irresistable urge to put pen to paper. I am not a writer but the words just flowed and I was able to pen my first poem in 15 iminutes. The piece is entitled "I Can't Breathe" echoing words George uttered over and over before he died.
